New Obi Light Bar Offers Great New Solutions and Capabilities

Fresh off this year's exhibition at LIGHTFAIR International, SONARAY came away from the show with some key takeaways.

Among those was the acceptance and excitement over the company's new "Obi" LED Light Bar, a second generation luminaire with enhanced features including an upgraded IP rating (IP66), more lumen output (up to 94,000 lumens in a 4 foot, 40 watt bar), a sleek new design, DLC listing, and a coming food grade certification for the product.

According to John Vidaurrazaga, Business Development Manager; “The New LED Light Bar has been carefully designed and crafted to address specific vertical market requirements such as in food production facilities.”  He adds: “Not only is the luminaire designed for aesthetic appeal, but the form factor is such that it will work well in areas that require wash down and spray.  Our design eliminates the surface channels that might be conducive to bacterial growth and our higher IP rating will allow the fixture family to work extremely well in a wide variety of damp or dusty environments.”

The crowd of distributors, lighting representatives, end users, specifiers, architects, and general technologists seemed to agree that this particular fixture has a variety of possible uses and seems to be one of the most exciting luminaires recently released by the company.

Ken Bryant, SONARAY's Director of Marketing said "We were particularly pleased with the chance to engage with so many of our channel representatives and see their excitement over the work our product development teams has achieved with this product.  This was an exceptional showing for us at LFI and it was largely defined by the excitement created by our new products, chiefly the Obi.  It was a pleasure to see and hear from so many of our distribution, representatives, and channel partners that they are excited about our company and the opportunities that products such as the new light bar present. Nothing beats face time with the folks specifying, selling, and using our products.  The new light bar provided us with a good platform to help strengthen and build on those relationships and our philosophy of listening to, and responding to clients with innovation and a keen eye on the future."
